- AMKA
- Αριθμός Μητρώου Κοινωνικής Ασφάλισης — the Greek social-security and healthcare number.
- DOY (ΔΟΥ)
- Δημόσια Οικονομική Υπηρεσία — the local Greek tax office.
- AADE
- The Independent Authority for Public Revenue — the Greek tax authority.
- Taxisnet / myAADE
- The online portal of the Greek tax authority for filings and certificates.
- Tax representative
- Φορολογικός εκπρόσωπος — a Greek-resident representative who lets non-residents obtain an AFM.
- M1 / M7
- The tax-registration forms used to obtain or update an AFM.
- ΦΠΑ (VAT)
- Value-added tax registration, required for most freelancers and companies.
- Golden Visa
- Greek residency-by-investment programme; every applicant needs an AFM first.
- Άδεια διαμονής
- A residence permit for non-EU citizens staying in Greece long-term.
- Βεβαίωση εγγραφής
- The registration certificate for EU citizens staying over three months.
